Birch

This specie origins from the East coast of North America including Eastern U.S., principally Northern and Lake States.

Only a few specimens grow in Europe and Asia. Yellow birch has a white sapwood and light reddish brown heartwood. The wood is generally straight-grained with a fine uniform texture.

Furniture, Millwork and paneling, doors, flooring, kitchen cabinets, turnings and toys.

Select & Better

Uniform in color (white or reddish tinge to light brown). Fish eyes are accepted. Checks, splits, stains and worm holes are not accepted.
